Uzbekistan’s My Freighter becomes the largest cargo airline in Czech Republic
Its cargo volume through Ostrava Airport was twice that of DHL in 2025
In 2025, the Uzbek carrier My Freighter emerged as the largest air cargo operator in the Czech Republic, its founder and CEO Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov said during a bilateral business forum held in Tashkent in late April.
Last year, the airline handled 11,000 tons of cargo through Ostrava Airport, according to Abdurakhmanov’s presentation. This volume is double that of Germany’s DHL and eight times the volume handled by the US carrier UPS at the same gateway.
According to Abdurakhmanov, Ostrava has become the airline’s main multimodal hub in Europe.
“Together with our Czech partners, we have built a logistics center in Ostrava that enables the consolidation of cargo flows between China and Europe, supports door-to-door delivery across the continent, and ensures efficient connections to Central Asia, Mongolia, and China,” he noted.
My Freighter is currently the largest cargo airline in Uzbekistan. It operates a fleet of ten freighters: nine Boeing 767-300Fs and one Boeing 757-200F, facilitating cargo transport from China to Europe via Central Asia. The airline plans to expand its fleet to 15 aircraft by the end of this year, with a long-term goal of reaching 50 freighters by 2030.
