MyWay Airlines, a Georgian carrier backed by Chinese investors, has taken delivery of its second Boeing 777-200ER, company representatives announced. The handover ceremony took place on July 15.
MyWay is the only airline operating widebody Boeing 777 aircraft in Georgia. The carrier received its first aircraft of this type—a 23-year-old jet registered as 4L-MWB—in 2024. This aircraft is currently deployed on a wet-lease basis outside the country.
MyWay Airlines launched flights in the spring of 2018 using narrowbody Boeing 737-800 aircraft, but discontinued scheduled passenger services in 2019.
