Uzbekistan’s My Freighter receives 10th Boeing 767 freighter
The airline expects to expand its fleet with two more such freighters by the end of this year
Uzbekistan’s largest cargo airline, My Freighter, has taken delivery of its tenth Boeing 767-300BCF aircraft. It arrived at its home hub in Tashkent from the United States on October 4. The 33-year-old converted freighter received the local registration UK67023 and was named after Zahir-al-Din Muhammad Babur, the medieval Central Asian ruler, commander, and thinker.
My Freighter is the largest operator of Boeing 767 aircraft in the Central Asia and South Caucasus regions. According to Mohy Sheneshen, the carrier’s business development director, two more aircraft of this type are expected to arrive before the end of the year. Overall, the airline plans to expand its 767 fleet to 15 units.
Additionally, My Freighter currently operates one Boeing 757-200PCF. The airline also plans to acquire Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 widebody freighters.
