Tashkent airport sees 14% growth in 2025
Uzbekistan's main gateway approaches the 10 million passenger mark

Passenger traffic at Tashkent Islam Karimov International Airport (TAS) rose by 14.2% year-on-year to 9.965 million in 2025, with flight operations increasing by 15%, according to state-owned managing company Uzbekistan Airports.
The majority of traffic, as in previous periods, was on international routes.
As in previous periods, the majority of traffic was on international routes. The airport in the Uzbek capital remains the Central Asian country’s largest aviation hub by a significant margin.
For context, passenger traffic at Samarkand International Airport (SKD), Uzbekistan’s second-busiest airport, stood at just over 1.5 million last year.
