Fly Khiva to return second Boeing 757 to service this fall

Uzbekistan’s private carrier Fly Khiva plans to return its second passenger Boeing 757-300 to service this fall, a representative of the airline told CentralAsia+Aero. The aircraft, registration UK75006, was the airline’s first passenger plane delivered in 2024 and has been undergoing technical maintenance since January 2026.

In early August, Fly Khiva wet-leased a single narrowbody Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft (registration LY-DUE) from Lithuanian ACMI provider GetJet Airlines. The aircraft is currently deployed primarily on domestic routes within Uzbekistan, as well as on flights connecting Termez and Istanbul.

According to the Fly Khiva representative, the company is evaluating an extension of the wet lease for a longer period while simultaneously negotiating a dry lease for an additional Boeing 737.

In 2025, Fly Khiva transported 150,000 passengers using its fleet of two Boeing 757-300s.

Fly Khiva’s fleet also includes one Boeing 767-300BCF freighter, which is operated for e-commerce cargo flights between China and Europe. In January–March 2026, the Uzbek carrier became the largest cargo airline at Riga Airport (RIX) in Latvia, handling 37% of the airport’s total freight volume. By comparison, local flag carrier airBaltic accounted for 24%, followed by DHL (15%) and FedEx (7%).
