Armenian low-cost carrier Flyone Armenia started to sell tickets for a new route connecting Yerevan with the Serbian capital, Belgrade. According to the airline’s booking system, flights are scheduled to begin on December 15 and will operate twice weekly, with a flight time of 2 hours and 50 minutes.

Belgrade marks Flyone Armenia’s second destination in the Balkans. During this year’s summer season, the carrier operates flights from Yerevan to the Montenegrin coastal city of Tivat.

The Armenian low-cost airline will be the sole carrier offering scheduled direct passenger service between Armenia and Serbia. Serbian flag carrier Air Serbia currently serves the South Caucasus via neighboring Georgia (Tbilisi) and Azerbaijan (Baku). On its website, Air Serbia offers connections to Yerevan through the end of November only via code-share flights with its partner, Qatar Airways, routing through Doha.

Flyone Armenia is the largest airline in its home country. According to Armenian civil aviation authorities, as of early September, its registered fleet comprised four narrowbody Airbus A320s and one A321ceo. However, the carrier claims an operational fleet of 13 aircraft, with many likely registered in other base jurisdictions under the broader Flyone Group umbrella.

Flyone Armenia’s route network currently encompasses destinations across Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Europe, and the Middle East.
