IATA Roundtable: Turning global cargo best practices into regional success

A special session will be held with the support of IATA as part of the Central Asia Air Cargo Summit, taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 30 September 2026.

The IATA Roundtable will bring together leading airlines, airports, technology providers, and public-sector stakeholders to explore how global standards and proven industry practices can support the growth of air cargo in Central Asia.

The discussion will focus on

• Unlocking regional growth through global standards and best practices
• Strengthening air cargo connectivity and operational excellence
• Advancing digital data exchange, including IATA ONE Record
• Modernizing customs, regulatory, and trade facilitation processes
• Building effective public–private cooperation for more competitive cargo flows

The program will feature contributions from representatives of IATA, Lufthansa Cargo, Qatar Airways, Uzbekistan’s Customs Committee, and other key industry stakeholders, followed by an interactive panel discussion moderated by IATA.

This special roundtable will provide an important platform to exchange practical insights, identify opportunities for cooperation, and contribute to the development of a more connected, efficient, and competitive air cargo ecosystem in Central Asia.
