Aircraft maintenance and repair organization Uzbekistan Airways Technics (UAT), a subsidiary of national carrier Uzbekistan Airways, successfully completed its scheduled oversight audit by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The findings confirm that the facility’s production infrastructure and quality management system remain fully compliant with EASA Part-145 regulations.

Under its active terms of approval, UAT retains authorization for both Line and Base Maintenance across the following narrowbody and widebody fleets:

  • Airbus: A318 / A319 / A320 / A321 family;
  • Boeing: 737 (-300/400/500 Classic and -600/700/800/900 NG), 757-200/300, and 767-200/300/400.

The scope of certification further encompasses component maintenance (ratings C01, C05, C06, C14, C20) and specialized Non-Destructive Testing (NDT / rating D1), including ultrasonic, liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, radiographic, and thermography inspections.

First certified by EASA in April 2001, Uzbekistan Airways Technics remains the longest-standing European-approved MRO provider in the region. The successful audit enables the facility to maintain its maintenance support for international commercial operators.

“Passing the EASA oversight audit reconfirms our operational compliance and supports UAT’s footprint in the international MRO market. We remain focused on expanding our technical capabilities and modernizing infrastructure to meet evolving industry standards,” the company stated.
