Azerbaijani aviation authorities certify Lithuanian MRO provider
J&C Aero is now approved to perform maintenance on Azerbaijan-registered aircraft at Vilnius Airport
Azerbaijan’s civil aviation authorities have granted maintenance organization certification to Lithuanian MRO provider J&C Aero. The approval allows the company to carry out maintenance operations on Azerbaijan-registered aircraft at its primary base at Vilnius Airport (VNO).
“For operators, this means more maintenance options, easier planning and reliable technical support when their aircraft are in Vilnius,” J&C Aero said.
The Lithuanian provider specializes in cabin interior modifications for narrowbody aircraft across the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 families as well as for A330 widebodies. The certification issued by the State Civil Aviation Agency of Azerbaijan marks the company’s first approval of its kind within the post-Soviet area. J&C Aero previously held national certificates, EASA approvals, and specialized work scope clearances from aviation authorities in Brazil, India, and China.
In 2024, J&C Aero completed cabin refurbishments for Boeing 757-200 aircraft operated by Kazakh charter carrier Sunday Airlines.
