Centrum Air surpasses last year’s passenger volume
The airline welcomed its two-millionth passenger of the year in late October
Centrum Air, Uzbekistan’s largest private airline, welcomed its two-millionth passenger of the year in late October, already exceeding its total 2025 volume by a third.
In 2025, the carrier’s passenger traffic surpassed 1.5 million passengers, while 1 million travelers used its services in the first half of this year alone.
The growth in passenger volume was driven by fleet expansion. Since the beginning of the year, Centrum Air has taken delivery of one Airbus A321neo and one A320ceo, as well as its fourth Airbus A330. In January, the airline announced plans to expand its fleet to 22 aircraft by the end of 2026.
In addition, the carrier actively expanded its route network. In September alone, it launched flights to Hyderabad, Perm, Ufa, Karachi, and Yekaterinburg. During the first month of autumn, the airline carried 222,000 passengers, operating 1,264 flights to 65 cities across 30 countries worldwide.
