New Uzbek airline Stratos Freight has taken delivery of its first aircraft, a Boeing 757-200PCF (Precision Converted Freighter). The aircraft was leased from the US-based AerSale Corporation.

A representative from Stratos Freight told CentralAsia+Aero that the carrier plans to launch flight operations later this year following the arrival of its second aircraft of the same type. By the end of 2026, it also expects to receive an additional two higher-capacity Boeing 767 freighters.

Stratos Freight will become the fifth specialized cargo carrier in Uzbekistan.

The local market is currently served by several private operators in this segment, including MyFreighter (operating eight Boeing 767-300Fs and one Boeing 757-200F), Spacebee Airlines (two Boeing 767-200Fs), SkyGuard (two Boeing 757-200Fs), and Fly Khiva (one Boeing 767-300F). Additionally, the national carrier Uzbekistan Airways has two Boeing 767-300 freighters in its fleet, though they have remained grounded for several months.
