A new multimodal cargo project has launched at Karaganda Airport (KGF, Kazakhstan), with Maltese charter carrier Galistair as its debut client.

In early April, a Galistair Airbus A330 delivered a shipment of goods for the Spanish retailer Inditex from Zaragoza to Karaganda. According to a representative from Business Jet Fuel, which provided handling and refueling services, the cargo was transferred from the aircraft to trucks for distribution across Kazakhstan within just four hours.

To optimize the return leg, the aircraft was loaded in Karaganda with Europe-bound goods delivered by truck from China. This has been confirmed as a long-term contract.

In addition to this project, Business Jet Fuel manages the refueling of over 200 cargo aircraft per month during technical stops at Karaganda and Astana airports.
