Royal Jordanian has opened ticket sales for flights from the Jordanian capital, Amman, to Tashkent. According to the carrier’s booking system, operations to the capital of Uzbekistan will commence on June 30. The 4.5-hour flights will operate twice weekly using Embraer 195-E2 aircraft.
Tashkent will mark the Jordanian flag carrier’s first destination in Central Asia. In February of this year, Kazakhstan’s aviation authorities reported that the airline was considering the possibility of launching an Almaty–Amman route. However, this destination has not yet appeared in Royal Jordanian’s schedule.
